Warranty
Parts sold by Riders Parts Miami carry the warranty offered by the manufacturer that made them. We are a dealership, so a claim is something we file for you rather than something you chase alone.

Start here: which one is it?
"It arrived broken" and "it failed after 4,000 miles" are two different processes with two different deadlines.
- It arrived damaged, or it is not what I ordered. That is a delivery problem. You have 48 hours. See the section below.
- It is fine, I just do not want it. That is a return. You have 90 days from delivery β see our refund policy and the FAQ.
- It worked, then it failed. That is a warranty claim. See "Manufacturer warranty" below.
Damaged or incorrect on arrival: 48 hours
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs β of the part, and of the box it came in if the box is damaged too. Email parts@ridersmiami.com or call +1 645-239-3174.
We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at our cost. You do not pay to send back a part that arrived broken or a part we picked wrong, and your original shipping charge is refunded in those two cases.
The same 48-hour window applies if tracking shows your parcel as delivered and it never turned up.
Do not install it. This is the one that costs people money. A damaged or incorrect part that has been fitted, wired, cut or programmed stops being returnable, and a shipping-damage claim cannot be made on it. If something looks wrong in the box, stop and photograph it.
Manufacturer warranty
Every brand we carry sets its own warranty: what it covers, how long it lasts, and what it excludes. Those terms come from the manufacturer, not from us, and they vary considerably from one brand and product to the next. The paperwork in the box is the authority on your specific part β keep it.
What is consistent across almost all of them:
- Warranties cover manufacturing defects β a part that was faulty when it was made.
- They do not cover normal wear (tires, brake pads, chains, filters and clutch plates are consumables), crash damage, incorrect installation, modification, racing or off-road use where the part was not sold for it, or neglect.
- Helmets are a special case. A helmet that has taken an impact is finished β that is the helmet doing its job, not a defect, and no manufacturer warrants against it.
- You generally need proof of purchase. Keep your order confirmation email.
How to make a claim
- Email parts@ridersmiami.com with your order number, the part, and what happened. Photographs of the failure help a great deal β in many cases they decide the claim.
- Tell us the mileage or hours on the part and roughly when it was fitted, and whether it was installed by a shop or by you.
- We take it to the manufacturer or distributor on your behalf and tell you what they need. Sometimes that is the part returned for inspection; sometimes photographs are enough.
- If the claim is approved, the manufacturer decides the remedy β normally repair, replacement or credit. That decision is theirs, not ours. We will tell you plainly what they have said either way.
Warranty claims can take time on the manufacturer's side. We will chase yours and keep you posted rather than leaving you to wonder.
Installed parts
Once a part has been installed, it is no longer returnable β but it is not automatically outside warranty. A genuine manufacturing defect that only shows up in use is exactly what warranty is for. Get in touch and we will look at it.
One thing worth knowing before you order: electrical parts, tuning modules and special-order items cannot be returned once installed or programmed. For those, ask us before you buy. Once a module has been flashed to your bike, a change of mind is no longer an option and a defect claim is the only route left.
What we can promise, and what we cannot
We can promise that we file the claim, that we handle the back-and-forth with the manufacturer, and that we tell you the truth about where it stands.
We cannot promise the outcome. Warranty decisions belong to the company that made the part, and any dealer who tells you otherwise is guessing. What we can do is make sure your claim reaches the right desk with the right evidence attached, which is most of what determines whether it succeeds.
